Nicholas is a software engineer and a father of two young boys.  When his second child was born, he arrived to a chilly home (only about 10°C).  What he didn't know was that his furnace had broken a couple of days before he and his family left the hospital.  Nicholas felt there needed to be a reliable way to be notified when problems like this occur when you're not home.  Nicholas teamed up with Elliott to develop syndii®, an easy to use and always connected device that can monitor for temperature drops, water leaks and power outages.
